Carefoot Awarded Contract at the University of Lancashire

Carefoot is pleased to announce that we have been awarded the contract by the University of Lancashire to carry out the flat roof and skylight replacement works at the Greenbank Building.

The project will see our specialist team replace the existing roof covering and skylights, helping to improve the building’s long-term performance, weather protection and energy efficiency while ensuring the facility continues to meet the University’s needs for years to come.

The works will be carried out during term time, requiring careful planning and management to ensure the safety of students, staff and visitors while operating within a live university environment. Our experienced team will work closely with the University to minimise disruption to day-to-day activities and maintain access to key facilities throughout the project.

To support this approach, we will be using specialist lifting equipment to safely transport materials to roof-level, install materials and components, and allow the works to be completed as efficiently as possible while reducing the impact on the University’s normal operations.

We are delighted to continue our working relationship with the University of Lancashire, having been awarded and delivered previous projects across the campus. Being entrusted with this latest scheme reflects the confidence the University continues to place in Carefoot to deliver high-quality work safely, professionally and with minimal disruption.

We look forward to working closely with the University and the wider project team to deliver another successful project.

We would like to thank the University of Lancashire for their continued trust in Carefoot and look forward to returning.
