Our Site Manager Lee Clarke has raised funds for a charity close to his heart – PAPYRUS – following a successful evening at Whittingham and Goosnargh Sports and Social Club.
PAPYRUS is a Lancashire-based charity dedicated to the prevention of young suicide through its HopeLine24/7. This is a confidential support service, and the charity also give training to help people recognise the warning signs of suicide, and campaign to create positive change.
The event was organised by Lee and featured a live performance from his band, Midlife Crisis. They entertained a fantastic crowd throughout the evening. Friends, family, colleagues and members of the local community came together to enjoy the music while supporting an important cause.
With the final donations counted, the fundraising total currently stands at a fantastic £760.56 with every contribution helping PAPYRUS continue its vital work supporting young people and those concerned about them.
